The Kioku Sake Bar takes inspiration from Japanese listening bars, so the music sets the mood, and so can you. We invite you to pick the tracks you love while you savour every sip; our guest-curated playlists ensure that no night at Kioku Sake Bar is the same.
Despite this exclusive London bar’s central location amongst Whitehall, Trafalgar Square, Covent Garden and Westminster, to step into Kioku Sake Bar is to be transported, and it is our pleasure to envelope you in elegance as you enjoy truly extraordinary drinks here at our Japanese bar with us.
ZAKU Sake Masterclass – 4th March
Join us at Kioku Sake Bar for an immersive sake masterclass featuring six ZAKU sakes with six curated pairings, priced at £75 per person. The evening explores ZAKU, the acclaimed sake from Shimizu Seizaburo Shoten, a historic brewery founded in 1869 in Suzuka, Mie Prefecture. ZAKU reflects the belief that sake’s true value is shaped by everyone involved — from brewer to server to drinker. The experience is made especially memorable by the attendance of the President of the ZAKU brewery alongside members of the Shimizu family, offering rare insight into the heritage, craftsmanship, and philosophy behind the brand.
