Kioku Sake Bar is a Japanese bar in London, located in the Old War Office building in Whitehall, serving Japanese-inspired cocktails and world class Sake. Endo San invited Sake Samurai Natsuki Kikuya to create one of the largest bespoke Sake collections at Kioku Sake Bar, with over 100 types to choose from. Alongside our Sake section you will discover a host of Japanese-inspired cocktails created by the beverage team, making our bar the perfect place to enjoy a drink before heading up to the rooftop to dine with us, or host your private event.

There are over 100 types of sake to choose from at Kioku; as the largest sake collection in Europe, there are many styles and regional varieties to try. Intuitive advice is happily given to those seeking expert recommendations.
Alongside our Sake section you will discover a host of Japanese-inspired cocktails created by the beverage team, from Yuzu whiskey sours to miso espresso martinis.
We of course have low ABV- and alcohol-free options, ensuring everyone can sip something delicious while they soak up the ambience of this incredible bar.
Private Bar Hire at Kioku
Kioku Sake Bar creates the perfect intimate yet relaxed vibe for up to 40 guests. Stand-up events or mix-and-mingle gatherings are at home alongside our impressive drink selection; talk to us about hosting corporate get-togethers, special celebrations with your nearest and dearest, brand events, or anything in between.
Location and Reservations
Find us on the ground floor of The OWO, tucked around the corner in Whitehall Place. From the bar, you can easily take the lift up to Kioku’s restaurant.
Reserve your spot at Kioku Bar, open Wednesday and Thursday 6pm-12am (last reservation at 11pm), and Friday and Saturday 6pm-1am (last reservation at 12am).
